Founders Jason O’Connell and Niall Walsh had no way of knowing that their first small venture in craft brewing would bring them so far. Galway Bay Brewery was born just over a decade ago when the pair opened one of Irelands earlier brewpubs, their flagship pub the Oslo in Salthill, Galway. In the years to follow, with the addition of Chris Treanor to the team as head brewer, the group would expand operations to 11 bars based in Galway and Dublin and now house their brewery in Oranmore, just a 20-minute drive from The Oslo. They now produce an array of rotational beers along with their four core beers.
