So, pull on that big woollen jumper (Yes, we’ll allow the tacky Christmas ones early this time!), stoke up the fireplace, and kick back with some of our favourites. 


Wylam Macchiato 



A warm coffee is always good, but a hazelnut praline coffee porter? Even better. This one is a real treat for the coffee fans among us as the added lactose creates a much smoother experience and allows the coffee to shine through.

Boundary Eschatology



This one packs quite a punch at 10% ABV. A very tasty collaboration with Root and Branch, speciality coffee roasters in Belfast and Boundary Brewing, resulting in an imperial salted caramel stout with coffee. Expect a thick velvety texture, luscious caramel, and of course deep rich coffee notes. Boundary Brewing has been known to select only high-grade ingredients and it truly shows with this one.

Wicklow Wolf Apex Tiramisu


Nothing says Christmas like a decadent dessert, and this limited edition Wicklow Wolf Apex Tiramisu is as decadent and delightful as it sounds. Packing an ABV of 8%, this wicked delight is brewed with Nicaraguan coffee beans from Java Republic, Tanzanian cocoa nibs from The Proper Chocolate Company and Milk Sugar. 


ABV: 8% | €4.90



Mescan Westport Stout



As delightful on the eyes as it is on the palate. A dark, rich ruby in colour, this boasts coffee and caramel roasted maltiness alongside sweet and bitter notes. The finish is long and balanced and will leave you wanting for another sip. Recommended to pair alongside flavoursome dishes such as paté and lamb. Also great to combine with chocolate mousse or apple crumble, but we won’t judge you if you want to enjoy it solo!

West Kerry Beoir Chorca Carraig Dubh



A rich and luxurious porter which has been brewed with plenty of chocolate malt, yum! Bold in flavour with dark chocolate and roasted coffee notes. Expect hints of liquorice and dark fruits to round out the chocolate taste.

The brewery brew low volume batches with an emphasis on sticking to both tradition while looking towards progression and Carraig Dubh is a fine example of this.
