Ah summer, how we’ve missed you! There’s nothing we love more than relaxing in a nice and cool beer garden with a cold craft beer in one hand. Or sitting in our lawn chair slathered in sunscreen and a smoky barbeque crackling away works too! And so, while the sun’s out, craft beers out! We’ve put together a thirst-quenching list for you to enjoy as the days start to warm up and our thirst goes up, too! Slainte!




 

1. Rye River Kahuna Krush


Tis the KRUSH season with this seasonal release from Rye River! Expect a fruit punch sour ready to wash you away with Calamansi, Sudachi, and Morello cherry flavours. Wave after wave of tart, fresh citrus and berry are bound to wash away those cold day blues in this one!

2. Sxollie Granny Smiths 


It wouldn’t be Summer if we didn’t enjoy a fine craft cider or two. And this one from Sxollie is just the ticket! Made 100% with Granny Smith apples grown in Cape Town, South Africa, this crisp and refreshing cider captures that crunchy acidity of Granny Smith apples and keeps you coming back for more! Very enjoyable and easy drinking.


ABV: 5.4% | €3.00


 

3. Sierra Nevada Sunny Little Thing


Bask in its sunny glow! Why it's Sierra Nevada Sunny Little Thing of course! This wheat ale was simply MADE for sunny days. Expect a brew packed with citrus for a radiant flavour that’s bold yet easy-going and balanced by a soft and smooth finish.


ABV: 5% | €2.60



 

4. Kinnegar Brewers at Play 23 Mango Gose 


Kinnegar certainly love to treat us to quality brews, and this one is no exception. The brewers have been at play once again and delivered us quite the tart and refreshing Mango Gose. This one is certainly the perfect sipper to enjoy on one of those grand aul stretches in the evening! 


ABV: 4.2% | €3.25


 


5. Bru Brewery Howling At The Sun 


You'll be howling with joy after this classic and punchy West Coast IPA by Bru Brewery! Howling at the Sun delivers all that West Coast bitterness along with a delightful hit of tropical notes. Hints of red currant, citrus and floral tones come together in this punchy, flavoursome beer that will keep you coming back sip after sip!


ABV: 5.7% | €3.45



 

6. Trouble Brewing Mandarin Crush


It's CRUUUSH time! Oh, and mandarins. Lots and lots of mandarins. This summer special from Trouble Brewing takes a lovely crisp and clean lager and gives it a beautiful mandarin treatment. This zesty, juicy lager just begs to be enjoyed in a lawn chair with a bitta sun!

7. Eight Degrees Sunburnt Red Ale 


A can that’s as red as most of us end up over the Summer months! This crisp and refreshing Blood Orange IPA from the ever-popular Eight Degrees offers plenty of citrus with subtle blood orange hints throughout, backed by juicy, softy bitter hops.


ABV: 5% | €3.30


 

8. Stiegl Grapefruit Radler 


This refreshing Radler (mixed beer drink) is simply Summer in a glass! Made blended with fresh grapefruit juice, this one offers a pleasant fruity and tangy taste that’s bound to keep you satisfied on the sunniest of days.

9. DOT Brew Loose Session IPA


Feeling as loose as a goose with this stunning Session IPA from DOT Brew! This cracking good brew is made Centennial and Idaho 7 so expect lovely piney, fruity, citrus (grapefruit) flavours. Definitely one we'll be enjoying this summer!

10. La Chouffe Soleil 


Suns out? La Chouffe Soleil is out! This blond beer from Belgian beer extraordinaires, La Chouffe, has refreshing and delicate citrus fruit notes. This full-bodied brew is perfect for the fine weather and pairs wonderfully with goats cheese and summer salads.


ABV: 6% | €3.35


 


11. Crooked Stave Juicy West


A mightily juicy West Coast unfiltered IPA that's all about the hops! Loaded with citrus and tropical flavors from Amarillo, Azzaca, Mosaic, and Motueka hops, this IPA remains smooth and easy drinking.
