As we at Craft Beers Delivered prepare for another year of great beers and great times, we can’t help but take a look back at some of the highlights of 2020, a year that saw the beginning of the site, interviews with breweries around Ireland, and enough craft beers to quench the nation’s thirst and beyond. 

Firstly, a huge thank you to all who have supported Craft Beers Delivered since we began back in July of this year. Since we have started, we have kept our sights on the goal of sourcing the best beers we can find and deliver them to you, and it seems to have done the trick!


Breweries of the Month


To date, we have had three instalments in our Breweries of the Month series, with the lovely O Brother Brewing, Lineman, and Whiplash. While COVID has made it hard to conduct these interviews, we hope to continue them over 2021 and get the inside scoop on some of your favourite breweries and the process that goes on behind the scenes to make your favourite beers.

Our First Collaboration


We also released our own collaboration with DOT Brew (an achievement we’ll always be immensely proud of).

Hibernation Sensation is a collaboration with DOT Brew which is an oh so delicious Imperial Stout of which 80% has been aged in ex-15 Year Old Single Malt ex-PX Sherry cask for 10 months and then 20% has been aged in an Irish blended whiskey ex-dark rum cask for 6 months. At a hefty 9.7%, this brew is bursting full of flavour. A rich and complex treatment with dried fruits, caramel, nutty notes, and a wisp of dark chocolate.

This wonderful, limited edition Imperial Stout is available here for €5.30 (330ml). We hope you enjoy and that this is the first of many other collaborations to come!


Our First Craft Beer Advent Calendar


This year also saw us launch our first craft beer advent calendar. We wanted to keep this one Irish and be a celebration of this island’s amazing breweries and all the incredible beers (plus some limited releases) they have worked tirelessly on over the year. We don’t want to spoil the surprises we packed in case you haven’t finished yours yet or are saving it!


Breweries and Beers to Date


As of writing, we host an impressive 84 breweries on the site and 462 beers and that number is growing by the week. We’ve expanded to 40 styles of beer from lager to pale ale to lambics and stouts so there’s bound to be something for everybody, or maybe a new style you’ve yet to explore.  As we always say, we believe everyone should drink great beer and we’re just helping you make this possible.
