The countdown is well and truly on as we begin to get ready for Christmas festivities. Meanwhile, we’re as busy as little elves getting all the best beers we can source in and packing all our orders to go out for the big day! So whether you’re on the nice or naughty list, we’ve put together a few of our favourites to make sure you and your loved ones have yourselves a Hoppy, Jolly Beermas.
So without further ado, here are a few of our choices to enjoy over the holiday season, whether it be for the craft beer enthusiast, for yourself, or to leave out for Santa (I’m sure he’d be delighted!)

DOT Brew Hibernation Stout
When we started this list, we all knew we simply had to add this one. Hibernation Sensation is our first collaboration with DOT Brew which is an oh so delicious Imperial Stout. 80% has been aged in ex-15 Year Old Single Malt ex-PX Sherry cask for 10 months and then 20% has been aged in an Irish blended whiskey ex-dark rum cask for 6 months. This one packs a hefty 9.7% and is bursting full of flavour. The flavour is perfect for the holiday season, overflowing with lots of rich dried fruits, caramel, nutty notes, and a wisp of dark chocolate.

YellowBelly Gift Pack
Your belly might not be yellow after this one, but it’s sure to be full after this tasty treat! A great gifting option from the team at YellowBelly for any craft beer enthusiast. This gift pack includes: Andersons Red Ale, Arethusa Oatmeal Stout, Wild Irish Gose, Lost Armada West Coast IPA, and The Propeller Session IPA.

Lervig Christmas Cream Nitro Stout
A light Porter which is perfect for the holiday season! Balanced with lactose, which gives the beer body needed to complement deep chocolate flavour and cinnamon undertones. Pours with a beautiful, thick cascading foam bursting with all the richness you need.

Nothing beats a good Winter beer at this time of the year, and this tasty Belgian delight delivers. A tasty sipping Winter beer from the Chouffe Brewery which is perfect for drinking by the fire. Quite hoppy with gentle spiced notes of cinnamon and clove, along with a little orange peel. This one packs a mighty 10% ABV! We recommend pairing this up with warming stews and pies.

Hope Winter Seasonal 2020
Who says Winter beers need to be limited to dark ales or stouts? This Winter Seasonal from Hope Brewery is a red IPA with a twist! American and Australian hops have been used to create a hoppy, malty brew. Be sure to try this one with stews, cheese, or chocolate.

Triple Karmelite
This beer is bound to catch any beer lover’s eye at first glance with its rich and deep gold colour. Pours like a classic Belgian Tripel with a creamy, white foam head. From the first sip, this beer comes alive with complex aromas of vanilla, citrus as well as some slight herbal essence. A lovely warming sensation from the alcohol with a creamy mouthfeel and some sweet, herbal notes make this a great Christmas treat.

To Ol Santa's Secret: Mochaccino Messiah Double Shot
Santa's secret is out of the bag indeed! This classic big, malty Brown Ale delivers a creamy vanilla cappuccino experience from the first sip. Brewed with fresh coffee and lactose, Santa’s Secret rich malt profile is balanced by smooth vanilla and an extra shot of espresso coffee that evokes classic White Russian cocktails and caffè corretto to finish on a suitably bitter espresso note. A perfect treat for those on Santa's good list!

Sierra Nevada Celebration
Sierra Nevada goes against the usual spice and sweetness of Winter beers and instead offers a fresh hopped flavour. Celebration wields fresh hops—the first harvests of the season—toward its complex and cabin-cozy notes of pine, citrus, and malty caramel.
ABV: 6.8% | €3.10
Chimay Red
The oldest of the Chimays and certainly one of the best in their range. This is deep copper in colour with lots of sweet fruity flavours as well as some light spice and some soft, hoppy bitterness. A great Winter beer all-round.

Mescan Red Tripel
An Irish take on a Belgian classic! At a hefty 8.5%, this is the perfect brew to savour and share. Red in colour with an array of complex flavours, this is full-bodied and warming with nutty, caramel flavours, and a sweet finish.
