Beavertown
Beavertown first began brewing in 2011 and was founded by Logan Plant, son of iconic musician and Led Zeppelin vocalist Robert Plant. Inspired by the wide array of beers Logan discovered while touring with his band, on returning home to the UK he soon went to work on creating his own. While he lists a 50-litre rice pan as part of his original brewing kit, Beavertown quickly took off as did the Duke’s Brew and Que, the American BBQ restaurant built to accompany his brewhouse. The company has seen many upscales and relocations in the intervening years, including a minority stake investment from Heineken N. V. in 2018, but Logan remains at the helm of the company with his vision and passion for brewing still very much intact.
